Our Story
The Elijah Humanitarian Corporation (EHC) was founded in 2022, inspired by the life and challenges of Elijah Muhammad. Elijah faced struggles that are all too common—homelessness, mental illness, and injustices within the criminal justice system. His untimely passing deeply affected our family and shed light on the systemic gaps that leave so many without the support they deserve.
In his memory, we created EHC to honor his life by ensuring that others do not have to endure the hardships he faced. Starting with food distribution for the homeless and migrants in New York and assisting job seekers with resumes and interview preparation, EHC has grown into a mission-driven organization. Our vision remains steadfast: every person deserves dignity, opportunity, and support.
